Throughout my life, some of the best gifts I have received have been those with a personal touch. I have always been fascinated by the beauty of art and my artistic talent has led me to explore further.
I started off my business producing personalized mouse pads, coffee mugs, jigsaws and many other products. One day a request was made for a wooden jewellery box with a photo printed onto the box. I made every attempt to get the right product and finally came across a beautifully finished cherry wood box with a ceramic tile in-lay. I enhanced the photograph and added some wording of the customer’s choice and the finished product was truly magnificent. This sparked my imagination and after some googling, I came across a business in North America which immediately got my attention. I made contact with Toni at The Tile Mural Store and after numerous conversations, it was felt that we could work well together.
I started off with a beautiful piece of art, depicting a Greek theme - View of Santorini - in the Waterviews category, and received so many compliments which naturally encouraged me to produce more and more tile murals.
I began by giving gifts to my friends, according to their personal preferences, to use as kitchen back splashes or bathroom murals. The response was overwhelming and I very quickly realized that I had “hit the spot”.
There are currently over 2000 different murals available, produced by artists on every continent, ranging in size from 4 tile murals to murals that extend to over 30 feet. The vivid colours and vibrancy of the Tile Murals are breath taking.
I am passionate about my business and being somewhat of a perfectionist, I aim to ensure that the artwork selected by my customers are received with the same passion and emotion that I feel each time a mural is completed.
